Word of advice: workouts are ALWAYS the best when you make and push yourself. I’ve been beyond exhausted lately and have burned out way past my breaking point due to the intensity of both my summer classes. As a result, I feel as if I’m only functioning at what seems like 20% every single day. Having said this, working out has unfortunately taken a backseat. However, as tired as I was today, I made myself squeeze in at least a mile run. But you know what? Half way through that mile, I wanted to go another. And another. And still wanted more. My energy level skyrocketed and I ended up exceeding my 1-mile goal by doing a total of 3 miles plus a half hour of weights. so no matter how tired you are, you’re always stronger than you think. Plus, pushing yourself will let you get your results faster!

Which leads me into my next point: I’m so excited about how much muscle I’ve gained! My quads are not nearly as muscular as I want, but baby steps!

Exciting day! Just thought I’d share my moment of happiness with you all so that you can, too, become (re-)motivated!
